May Day Intimate House Concert & Celebration

Join us aboard the HMS Picard Houseboat for an evening of music from Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Greece, and beyond as we celebrate the ancient Gaelic May Festival, Lá Bealtaine. Held between the spring equinox and summer solstice, Lá Bealtaine, or May Day, marks the beginning of the summer season, where livestock is driven out to summer pastures and the veil between the Otherworld and our own is lifted. Ritual, song, fire, and feasting usher in growth, protection, abundance, and the waxing power of the sun.
Light feasting fare and drink will be available for purchase/donation. Please RSVP as space is extremely limited. $20-$30 suggested donation.
